Fring for the iPhone is here!
What does this mean?
Well, from now on you can use your iPhone, iTouch, or any mobile device that supports the Fring app to make calls using your WiFi Internet connection as opposed to your cellular network connection.
What is the advantage?
The main advantage is that at last you can call any number in the world using Skype from your cellphone.
Imagine you are on a trip outside your country an don’t want to get charged for roaming charges. All you have to do is find a free wireless network and use Fring to call any number using Skype.
How much does it cost to use Fring on the iPhone?
Nothing! The app is free so if you use Skype to call numbers you will get charged by Skype the same you would get charged if you called from your PC.
And if you call to another Skype user is absolutely free!
How is the sound quality?
Well, I have only tried it a couple of times so far and the truth is that is not that good yet, but I am sure the Fring guys are working very hard to improve this.
Where do I get the app?
You can download it for free here:
One of Microsoft Corp.’s biggest secrets looks like a normal coffee table. Until it’s switched on.
After years of covert development, Microsoft says it will release a computer that uses the tabletop as its high-resolution display, recognizes objects placed on the surface and skips the traditional keyboard and mouse in favor of fingers on the screen.
OLED stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode. Sony just released a little 2.5in flexible OLED.
