Alex Roman has pushed the boundaries of computer generated imagery beyond reality. In other words, to shoot this in real life and make it so beautiful would be be almost impossible. However, Alex managed to create this beauty using his amazing talent, software, and a computer.. Bravo!

I did this animation over a year ago for my buddie Sean. He provided the models which I refined with some basic texturing. It was a quick job on 3D Studio Max. Today I ran into it at the whistlerblackcomb.com website. I am so proud! yahooo!!!

From 2000 to 2003 I self-taught 3D animation using AutoCAD and 3D Studio Max.
I ended up modeling and animating most of the main machines manufactured at the plywood machinery manufacturer I was working for during those years.
In 2001, I received an award for my work on 3D modeling for the 3D model of a complete LVL plant. The award was given to me by by Autodesk, the company that behind 3D Studio Max modeling software.
Later I shifted my focus more into filmmaking and web developing eventually leaving behind 3D animation almost completely.
